The North Carolina Community Housing & Consulting (NCCHC) is an agency established March 2016, to provide housing assistance for low income and moderate income families without predjudice and discrimination due to race, creed or religion. NCCHC has statewide jurisdiction, except that no project shall be undertaken in any area where a city, county or regional Housing Authority is in operation, unless the local authority adopts a resolution declaring a need for the North Carolina Community Housing & Consulting to exercise its powers within the area already operated.

NCCHC is a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency, a member of the Community Partners Loan Pool (CPLP) with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA), and a Mortgage Brokerage Agency. The Agency provides mortgage loans as a Third Party Originator (TPO) with Paramount Residential Mortgage Group, Inc. (PRMG), United Home Mortgage (UHM), Sun West Mortgage Company Inc. (SWMC), Loan Stream Mortgage (LSM) Equity Prime Mortgage (EPM) & Click n' Close (CNC). The partnerships with  Agency's allows NCCHC to provide clients with more resources to accomodate their housing needs.

NCCHC has assisted very low and moderate income families with their housing needs. With successful housing counseling, families were able to rent or purchase a home.
